¿Qué dice el Documento de “Aparecida” a los Oblatos?
Summary – A brief description of some ideas expressed in the Document of Aparecida, published two years ago by the Latin-American bishops. It relates and confronts compares this message with missionary oblate practices, more specifically with what it is stated in our Constitutions and Rules. There are profound similarities between what was said by the Bishops in the document called: “Disciples and Missionaries of Christ so that our peoples may have life: Jesus, The Way, The Truth and The Life” and that expressed in our omi Constitutions and our missionary oblate tradition. It begins by showing some of the most important characteristics of the Document, and then points to some profound similarities between Aparecida and our Constitutions. It finishes by presenting some of the limitations and deficiencies that can observe in the oblate evangelizing practices.
